Henrik Fisker has yet again tweeted another picture of his reborn car maker's follow-up to the ill-fated Karma.
The single pic, tweeted over the weekend, follows other pics of the front and side profile of the new Emotion that will rival the Tesla Model S when it goes on sale in 2017.
According to the former BMW and Aston Martin designer, the new computer rendering shows off the Emotion's "wide sculptural shoulders".
Fisker also points out the thin LED tail lamps and subtle rear diffuser that's claimed to improve aero.
Other pictures, tweeted out by Fisker, have also claimed the Emotion will have an advanced aero with unusual packaging ensuring the sports sedan has an “aerodynamic low front”.
The Karma replacement will also come with front and rear-hinged dihedral doors but, aside from the radical design, the most important feature of the four-door luxury sedan will be the new state-of-the-art battery technology.
The new breakthrough in batteries has been claimed to have been developed in-house. Using pioneering graphene technology, Fisker says, the new cells enable a longer range of up to 650km.
Charging times, meanwhile, are said to be significantly quicker than today’s pure-electric vehicles - although the Danish designer hasn’t said how long the Emotion takes to fully charge from flat.
Claimed to be on sale by the second half of 2017, the new pure-electric car's batteries are also claimed to last the entire lifetime of the car — far longer than any of its rivals.
Another benefit of the new tech is Fisker claims the new cells use far less lithium than conventional lithium ion cells.
Initially, the Emotion will be sold as an expensive low-volume model made by Michigan, USA-based VLF Automotive.
Once the car-brand launches its Model S rival, Fisker has already confirmed a cheaper, mass-market vehicle will follow that will be based on a new modular pure-electric car platform. That car is thought to be a direct rival for the Tesla Model 3.
