Ferrari Australasia has confirmed that it will hold the first ever Ferrari Racing Days event in Australia at Sydney Motorsport Park between April 11 and 13, 2014.
As we reported yesterday, the event will be a massive undertaking for Ferrari, with the largest collection of Ferraris ever seen expected to gather in Sydney for the three-day festival of speed. The 2014 Ferrari Racing Days will also see the first Sydney round of the 2014 Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific series, contested by Ferrari 458 Challenge race cars.
The Australian Racing Driver's Club (ARDC) is aiding the organisation of the huge Ferrari festival, and Andrew Leithead, ARDC President, said it will be a huge event giving Ferrari owners and the public a chance to see some amazing cars in action.
"Not everyone can own a Ferrari and not everyone can be a racing driver, but anyone can come to Sydney Motorsport Park in April 2014 to see, hear, smell and maybe even touch Ferrari Racing cars," said Leithead.
As well as seeing Ferrari's driven the way company founder Enzo intended, at full tilt on the racetrack, Ferrari has also confirmed at least one F1 car will take part in the high-octane festa.
Herbert Appleroth, Ferrari Australasia CEO, said he was "thrilled" to be hosting the first ever Ferrari Racing Days event in Australia.
"This is a unique event that will see the biggest collection of Ferraris that Australia has seen," he said.
"We are so excited to not only host our value Ferrari owners at this event, but we also look forward to welcoming thousands of Ferrari fans and lovers of motorsport," added Appleroth.
Tickets for the event will sold via Ticketek, but pricing is yet to be announced.
