Honda Australia has added a limited edition CR-V to its strong-selling medium SUV line-up.
Dubbed CR-V Plus+, the model is based on the entry-spec 2.0-litre petrol CR-V VTi, but adds additional equipment that represents improved value for money, says Honda.
Available in two- and all-wheel drive guise, the auto-only the CR-V Plus+ gets 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, front and rear parking sensors, dusk-sensing headlights, rain-sensing wipers, metallic
paint and Plus+ badging, in addition to those features found standard on
the entry-grade Honda CR-V VTi.
The
CR-V Plus+ is priced at $30,790 (plus on-road costs) in two-wheel
drive form and $33,790 (plus ORCs) for the all-wheel drive model.
With 5037 units sold in the first six-months of 2014, Honda’s CR-V currently ranks
fifth in its segment sales. It tails the Mazda CX-5 (11,006), Toyota
RAV4 (9327), Subaru Forester (6828) and Nissan X-TRAIL (6442).
"The CR-V is consistently our top-selling model," said Honda Australia Director, Mr. Stephen Collins. "And for a limited time, the CR-V is available with extra features representing great value for money."
