He may not have a car collection to rival that of celebrity car hoarder Jay Leno or UK musician Jay Kay, but US boxer Floyd Mayweather isn't short of exotic metal.
The boxing maestro whose nickname is 'Money' – for obvious reasons – has never been defeated in his professional career and earns an average salary of $50 million per year.
The champion boxer – a five-division world champion, having won 10 world titles -- is estimated to be worth almost $300 million and clearly he doesn't mind spending it.
In a photo he posted on Instagram recently, Mayweather quipped "Welcome to my toy world! Who wants to come out & play?" and listed the worth of all three of his Bugatti Veyrons shown: two 'standard' cars valued at $1.6 million and a Gran Sport worth around $3 million.
On top of the Bugatti trio, there's a Ferrari 458 Italia Spider, Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio, Lamborghini Aventador and a Gulfstream G3, the latter alone worth at least a few million dollars.
In total there's more than $10 million worth of metal in the image alone, including the jet, which is still small change for the talented boxer sometimes referred to as TBE – the best ever.
But compared to the motoring.com.au garage Mayweather's collection still has some way to go. After all, you can't put a price on a beat-up VX Holden Berlina…
Having earned more than $100 million last year alone, reportedly making him the world's highest paid athlete, exotic cars and a luxury lifestyle in Las Vegas are par for the course for Mayweather, who has previously said he plans to retire this year.
Perhaps he'll try his hand at motor racing?
