Nissan has revealed pricing and specifications for 13 new variants of its NP300 Navara, with the newcomers to go on sale from later this month. Nissan says the full NP300 line-up will be available in showrooms in November.
Dual-cab pick-up iterations of the new Navara first hit showrooms in May – you can read what we said about it then in our launch review.
Now the family will be joined by new king cab, single cab chassis and dual cab chassis models, bringing the total line-up to 27 variants. A total of four trim grades are available, from the entry-level DX through RX, ST and the range-topping ST-X.
The Navara single cab range is only available in DX and RX grades in a cab/chassis format, with a choice of a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine (122kW/238Nm) or a 2.3-litre single-turbo four-cylinder diesel (120kW/403Nm).
Both 4x2 and 4x4 formats are available, with a standard six-speed manual transmission backed by an optional seven-speed auto on the diesel RX 4x4.
Single cab models are fitted with leaf-spring rear suspension, as opposed to the multi-link coil-sprung setup found on dual cab pick-up models. Payloads vary from 1196kg to 1362kg.
Standard features include seven airbags, Bluetooth telephony, three 12-volt outlets and a radio with CD player, among others.
The NP300 Navara king cab is available in RX, ST and ST-X grades, and has seating for four with access to the rear via a reverse-opening door panel behind the main doors.
The RX model is powered by the single-turbo diesel and comes in either cab/chassis or pick-up and 4x2 or 4x4 formats, while the ST and ST-X are powered by the 2.3-litre twin-turbo diesel (140kW/450Nm) and are only available as a 4x4 pick-up.
Like the single cabs, all king cab models are fitted with leaf-spring rear suspension, while standard features include seven airbags, rear air vents, and a 12-volt outlet in the cargo. The ST also receives a reversing camera, LED projector headlights and 16-inch alloy wheels, while for the ST-X add sat-nav, leather-accented seating and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Rounding out the influx is a new dual cab/chassis 4x4 model, available only in an RX grade and fitted leaf-spring rear suspension.
With a maximum payload of 1151kg, the model is powered by the single-turbo diesel.
