SHANGHAI MOTOR SHOW: Honda shows off Concept D crossover

Honda shocks with low-slung SUV concept that looks close to production

Honda has hinted that its new Concept D crossover could be its flagship model in China if green lit for production.

Revealed at the Shanghai motor show, its striking visuals point towards a braver, more extrovert design approach by the brand in China.

Keeping tight-lipped on what might power its most expensive Chinese model, the safe money it that it will be driven by a V6 petrol hybrid.

In China Hondas are offered by two local joint ventures, Guangqi Honda and Dongfeng Honda.
