BMW has announced pricing for the mid-life update of its 6 Series range, claiming improved value for buyers with more kit for not much more money.
"The new BMW 6 Series provides the ultimate palette for tailored motoring, with the boost in specification providing for a broad array of individual paint and interior options," said BMW Australia Product and Market Planning chief, Shawn Ticehurst.
"Technological advances and a refining of its already inspiring design meanwhile enable the new BMW 6 Series to remain at the forefront of its segment, setting the standard for performance and luxury."
The 6 Series LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) is now priced from $177,900 for the 640i Coupe, but gains adaptive LED headlights, DAB+ digital radio, Driving Assistant Plus, Lane Change Warning and Parking Assistant.
A light facelift comprises revised kidney grille and restyled front and side aprons. Four BMW Individual exterior colours are now offered as no-cost options with the 6 Series LCI. These are: Citrin Black, Ruby Black, Moonstone and Tanzanite Blue.
The suspension has been tweaked for improved handling, and the engine note has been fettled for a sportier tune also.
