Chrysler has announced a limited edition 300 SRT-8 Core model with added features for $4000 more than the standard model.
Named the 300 SRT-8 Core Satin Vapour, the value-added model is available in three colours – Billet Silver, Bright White and Granite Crystal – and is priced at $60,000.
The two key features fitted as standard are the Uconnect 8.4-inch touch screen infotainment system with satellite navigation, and a dual-pane sunroof. Additionally, the Satin Vapour model comes with a dealer-fit reversing camera.
Other features of the Satin Vapour model are primarily cosmetic. The car's 20-inch alloy wheels – complemented by red brake callipers – are finished in satin black, as are the mirror caps, roof wrap and rear spoiler.
A lower black stripe featuring the SRT legend is a highlight of the limited-edition model, joined by other styling details like gloss black accents for the grille, window surrounds, front fascia and the '6.4L HEMI' badge on the front quarter panels. The gloss black finish of the grille and the mainly body-coloured front fascia detailing is coordinated with dark chrome.
Inside, the seats are upholstered in a leather and perforated suede combination.
As for the standard 300 SRT-8 Core, the Satin Vapour model is powered by a 347kW 6.4-litre V8 driving to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission.
