Lexus has shown the first teaser shot of the replacement for its RX, ahead of its world debut on April 1 at the New York motor show.
The first picture of the fourth-generation large SUV clearly indicates it will adopt the same sharp design treatment as the recently launched mid-size NX crossover.
The new RX is also expected to receive Lexus’ trademark huge trapezoidal grille treatment, which has been a hallmark of all recent models and concepts including the recent LF-SA crossover that was shown at the Geneva motor show.
When launched, the new RX is expected to introduce Toyota’s next-generation plug-in hybrid technology for big cars.
As we've reported, it will also be bigger in all directions and could also come with the option of seven seats for the first time.
More details will be released closer to its unveiling.
