Skoda has released what we hope will be the last teaser shots of its new Superb before the Czech brand's redesigned flagship makes its world debut at Forum Karlín in Prague next Tuesday (February 17).
Due on sale in Australia early next year, the third Superb to emerge since 2001 – since which time more than 700,000 have been sold globally – has already been seen in an official sketch, both front and rear.
Skoda has also released official 'spy shots' of the new large sedan (in addition to the ones we shot ourselves in December and earlier this month even revealed the car's all-new interior.
Motoring.com.au understands the first official video of the new Superb will also be released on Monday, marking one of the longest pre-reveal campaigns for any model we can remember.
These first exterior images reveal the new Superb will wear 'crystalline' headlights, sharp edges and lines, and what Skoda describes as an "emotionally rich design" featuring "perfect radii".
"The design details presented demonstrate highest precision and a virtually perfect 'finish'," said Skoda. "All features have been developed with great attention to the smallest detail.
"The new Skoda Superb inspires with clear geometry, striking contoured surfaces, sculptural shapes and elegant lines from the front to the rear.
"The design of the new Superb's lights has a new sharpness to it: the accurate cut, the precise workmanship, the use of geometrical triangular shapes and the three-dimensional contours create a striking brand distinctiveness, modelled after the Bohemian tradition of glass art."
