McLaren has unveiled a special one-off P1 hypercar that pays tributes to one of the legendary drivers who have driven for its F1 team.
Inspired by the patriotic crash helmet livery of four-times Formula 1 world champion, Alain Prost, the P1 is painted white with blue and red graphics.
Created by McLaren’s Special Operations (MSO), the one-off P1 hypercar remains mechanically unchanged under the skin.
That means it has to make do with the standard 675kW generated from its electric motor-assisted 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 that helps the McLaren hypercar dispatch the 0-100km/h dash in 2.8 seconds, with 200km/h notched up in 6.8 seconds and 300km/h in 16.5 seconds.
