Audi Australia has released a special-edition ‘S Line Competition’ version of its A5 Coupe, limited to just 50 vehicles and priced $9700 higher than the 2.0 TFSI quattro variant upon which it’s based.
Priced at $83,300 plus on-road costs as a six-speed manual and $85,200 in S tronic seven-speed dual-clutch automatic form, the newest member of the A5 Coupe family is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre TFSI four-cylinder engine that delivers 165kW and 350Nm.
There are no powertrain upgrades, meaning fuel consumption remains at 6.7L/100km in the auto, which continues to sprint to 100km/h in a claimed 6.4 seconds with the aid of all-wheel drive.
Extra standard features include the S line Sports package comprising 20-inch seven double-spoke alloy wheels with a titanium finish and sports suspension, plus a high-gloss black exterior styling package including the wing mirrors, door sill rail, rear diffuser frame and bootlid spoiler, which can be had in body colour on request.
Inside, there’s perforated Alcantara and leather trim with contrasting stitching for the seats and armrests, plus piano-black cabin inlays and aluminium-look pedals.
This is in addition to standard A5 Coupe 2.0 TFSI quattro features, including xenon headlights, MMI Navigation plus with 20GB hard drive and full voice control, parking system plus with rear camera and three-zone climate-control.
Five exterior paint colours will be available: Ibis White, Glacier White, Daytona Grey, Misano Red and Sepang Blue.
