Aston Martin and watchmaker TAG Heuer have announced they are celebrating their Formula 1 partnership with a special edition based on the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera.
Appropriately named the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition, the new ultra-limited special has been created to be a run of just 50 cars, each accompanied by a free watch.
The limited Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Editions come painted in a Monaco Black paint that's combined with a car-fibre roof, spoiler, diffuser and mirror caps.
Look closely and you may also spot that all cars come with Pirelli P-Zero tyres that feature red sidewalls claimed to match the same shade of rouge as the brake calipers.
Inside the cabin, there are plenty more red accents, including red stitching, piping and Tag Heuer logos.
Those sport seats incorporate triangular quilting that also appear on the centre armrest and door cards.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Aston Martin hasn't been tempted to give the limited-edition DBS any more power, although a faster Superleggera is already in the works.
That means the TAG Heuer edition gets the same twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 as the regular DBS that produces 533kW and 900Nm. It's enough to launch it to 100km/h from rest in just 3.4 seconds, before eventually topping out at 340km/h.
TAG Heuer hasn't released any pics or info on the special watches it has made to commemorate the special DBS but it's thought to match the car's black and red colour scheme.
Pricing has yet to be announced, but expect a healthy premium over the $517,000 (plus on-roads) Aston Martin charges for the DBS Down Under.
