The Ferrari F8 Tributo is the latest model to get pimped by German tuning house Novitec, which has taken the mid-engine Italian supercar to new heights in performance, dynamics and street credibility.
Novitec already offers a range of customisation programs for models from the likes of Lamborghini, Maserati, McLaren and Tesla.
Most recently, the performance tuner created a kit for the $610K Ferrari 812 Superfast.
Now, the slightly cheaper ($485K) Ferrari F8 Tributo has received the same high level of attention.
In the most powerful tune available, the F8’s 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine can pump out 590kW of power and 898Nm of torque – an increase of 60kW/128Nm.
Novitec says the tuned Tributo can accelerate from 0-100km/h sprint in just 2.6 seconds, which is three-tenths quicker than the stock model ex-factory.
Top speed is also claimed to be higher than Ferrari’s quoted 340km/h.
On the road, the tuner says the F8’s throttle response is “even more instantaneous” and that in-gear acceleration is more powerful.
A high-performance gold-plated exhaust system can also be optioned, with or without electronic sound management. The system is complete with two large tailpipes finished in a combination of carbon and stainless-steel out the rear-end.
Various aftermarket forged wheel designs are available for the hot Prancing Horse, courtesy of American wheel manufacturer Vossen.
Riding on 21-inch rims up front and 22s on the rear, and wrapped in high-performance rubber, the Vossen designs include up to 72 colour options with a brushed or polished finish.
The tuned ’Rari will also sit 35mm lower, thanks to upgraded Novitec suspension. An on-board system that raises the suspension by around 40mm is also available, to better manage speed humps and the like.
As for the improved aerodynamics, Novitec says all components for the F8 Tributo can be optioned in a naked-carbon variant with a high-gloss clear coat.
The aero additions include a bonnet scoop insert, while a two-piece front spoiler and flaps on the side air-intakes fitted to the bumper are designed to reduce high-speed lift.
Rocker panels help direct air flow, while carbon trim is found on the side mirrors and side intake air deflectors.
Naturally, there’s also a larger rear wing fitted to the Novitec-fettled Ferrari F8 Tributo. It’s also made of carbon-fibre, and the German tuner says it works in conjunction with an understated rear spoiler lip to significantly increase rear-axle downforce at high speeds.
Several rear diffuser options are available, including an enhanced variation of the production diffuser, one that caters for models with a reverse camera or a complete carbon Novitec version.
And the customisation opportunities don’t end there.
Novitec says it’ll tailor the Ferrari’s interior to the owner’s personal preferences, from “the finest leather” to Alcantara in any desired colour and design.
