Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Transfer 2020 Video Review

Mercedes-Benz has updated its 12-seater minibus, which now boasts a range of comfort, convenience and safety upgrades

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Transfer has been around for many years, but the new Transfer 416 model is the first to be based on the new-generation Sprinter unveiled in 2018.

It's one of two 12-seater variants available in Australia and sits above the more utilitarian (and more affordable) Sprinter Transfer 414.

Both are powered by a 2.1-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel, with Benz's 7G-TRONIC seven-speed auto sending urge to the rear wheels, but the Sprinter Transfer 416 gets an extra 15kW and 30Nm. Is it worth the extra dosh?
