Mitsubishi has teased a refreshed 2020 Pajero Sport before its official global unveiling later this month.
The single teaser image shows minor changes to the front-end, including an updated bumper, grille and headlights that bring the upgraded SUV into line with the facelifted 2019 Mitsubishi Triton ute released in February.
However, as we saw from the spy pics snapped earlier this year there doesn’t appear to be many changes to the rest of the big off-road wagon’s exterior.
Still, Mitsubishi has promised the 2020 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will offer improvements in design, convenience, comfort and quality – likely similar to the changes seen in the updated Triton, which scored a six-speed transmission and new active safety features including autonomous emergency braking (AEB).
However, given the current Pajero Sport models already come with an eight-speed automatic and the same 2.4-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine as seen in the Triton, it remains to be seen how many mechanical changes the MY20 upgrade brings.
Expect full details on the 2020 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport to be revealed at the official launch in Thailand on July 25, before the updated SUV arrives in Australia early next year.
