Suzuki Australia has confirmed the refreshed Suzuki Swift Sport Series II will bring more gear and a spicy new colour from next month.
The updated warm hatch is due in showrooms in May and will come with new standard equipment including blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and heated door mirrors.
A reversing camera, brake assist and cruise control are carried over from the current Swift Sport, along with the same touch-screen display, sat-nav, Bluetooth and six-speaker audio system.
But the interior will be upgraded with a digital speedo and a bright orange/black two-tone colour option is added to the menu.
Power will come from the same punchy 103kW/230Nm 1.4-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, with the option of a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox.
The current Suzuki Swift Sport is priced from $25,490 plus on-road costs. Suzuki Australia is yet to confirm 2020 pricing, but the upcoming model could receive a price increase.
Entry-level Swift GL and GLX models are also due for an MY20 shake up, although Suzuki is light on details.
Suzuki Australia general manager Michael Pachota said the updated Swift Sport Series II is a significant evolution of what was already a class-leading driving experience.
“New advanced technological features and a bold new colour option will be sure to impress,” he said.
